Velvet Soft-Structured Carrier with Cross-Back Straps and Snap Neck Support

Short-pile velvet is an unusual and deliberately tactile choice for a baby carrier — the dense, close-cropped fibres give this carrier’s outer shell a smooth, almost reflective surface that is markedly softer to the touch than woven cotton or polyester canvas. Against the baby’s skin and the parent’s chest, the nap lies flat and warm without the looped texture of bouclé or the stiffness of structured canvas, making extended skin-to-skin carries particularly comfortable in cooler conditions.

The generously padded shoulder straps are ribbed along their length with sewn channels that maintain strap volume under load, preventing the narrow, rope-like compression that can occur with less substantial carriers during longer wears.
