PART 1 — RETURNS

1.1 Legal Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK), you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason or pay any penalty. Once you have communicated your decision to withdraw within this 14-day window, you have a further 14 days to physically return the product(s) to us.

Note: The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to customers based in the United Kingdom.

1.2 Extended Contractual Return Period

At Weanjay, we go beyond the statutory minimum and offer the ability to return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order. This extended commercial right of return applies to all eligible orders delivered within the United Kingdom.

For orders containing multiple products, the 30-day return period begins from the date of receipt of the last item in the order.

1.3 Conditions for a Valid Return

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • The item is unused and in the same condition as received — no signs of use, assembly (where applicable), or wear.
  • The item is returned in its original, complete packaging, including all components, accessories, instructions, and documentation.
  • A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt) is provided.
  • The item does not fall within the excluded categories listed in Section 1.4.

1.4 Items Excluded from Return

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Hygiene products: Goods that have been opened and cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Schedule 3.
  • Inseparable goods: Goods that are by their nature inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Gift cards: Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

No other product categories sold on weanjay.com are excluded from our return policy. All other items may be returned subject to the conditions in Section 1.3.

1.5 Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be issued in the following situations:

  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing components for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

In such cases, we reserve the right to apply a deduction to the refund amount proportional to any depreciation in value due to use or damage. No restocking fee is applied in addition to this deduction.

1.6 Sale Items

In accordance with UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), items purchased on sale or during a promotional period are eligible for a refund within the statutory 14-day withdrawal period only. Our extended 30-day commercial right of return does not apply to sale items.

1.7 How to Exercise Your Right of Return

Your message must clearly state your intention to return the item(s) and include your order number. You may also use the withdrawal form provided in Part 4. Once your return request has been received and confirmed, you must return the product(s) within 14 days of your notification.

Important notes on the return deadline:

  • The day of receipt of the item is not counted in the return period.
  • The period begins at the start of the first hour of the first day and ends at the close of the last hour of the final day.
  • If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.
  • The burden of proof for exercising the right of return lies with the customer. We recommend retaining proof of postage.

PART 2 — REFUNDS

2.1 Product Quality Guarantee

All items sold by www.weanjay.com are brand new, sourced from verified suppliers, and quality-checked before dispatch.

2.2 Defective Items

If your order arrives fully or partially defective, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for the affected item(s). Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

  • Please include: order number, proof of payment, photos or video of the defect, and your preference (replacement or refund).

Please do not send your item back to the manufacturer. We will guide you through the return process once your claim has been reviewed. No restocking fee applies to returns confirmed as a manufacturing defect.

Faults discovered after this 48-hour window remain covered under our standard 30-day return policy (see Part 1). For faults reported after 30 days, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 continue to apply.

2.3 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will send you an email confirming receipt and our decision. Items not meeting the return conditions will be returned to you.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Only the final price paid (after any discounts) will be refunded. Discount codes and gift vouchers cannot be reissued or refunded. No restocking fee is deducted from any refund.

2.4 Right of Withdrawal — Refund Conditions

Where the right of withdrawal applies, Weanjay will refund the full product price paid within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of shipment, whichever occurs first, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

As Weanjay offers free shipping on all orders, no delivery cost was charged at the time of purchase and therefore no delivery cost refund is applicable upon withdrawal. The refund will cover the product price only.

2.5 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to your original payment method by default. If you prefer to receive store credit for a future purchase, please indicate this when contacting our support team.

PART 3 — EXCHANGES & RETURN SHIPPING

3.1 Exchanges

Exchanges are available for a different size or colour of the same product only. Exchanging for a different product is not permitted. If you wish to obtain a different product, please return your eligible item for a refund and place a new order.

3.2 Return Shipping Costs

To return a product, please contact us first at [email protected] to receive return instructions. Do not send items back without prior confirmation.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:

  • Confirmed manufacturing defect or error on our part — return shipping will be covered or reimbursed in full.
  • Size or colour exchanges of the same product — Weanjay will refund return shipping costs up to a maximum of £5.
  • In the event of a refused delivery where a pre-paid return label was provided by us, the cost of that label will be deducted from your refund.

For items valued over £75, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing postal insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of items returned without a tracking number.

No cash-on-delivery returns will be accepted under any circumstances.
